LOVE NOTES

Clients are saying...

"I love Natalie! She's helped me so much." - E.H.

"There's something truly amazing about sitting with Natalie. She is strong and solid while at the same time being soft and caring. My sense is that she genuinely, authentically, wanted to support me in being the most me I could be, without judgement or agenda; to help me figure that out and then get me there. My work with Natalie left me feeling more in touch with and trusting my own wisdom." - T.B.

"Natalie is one of the kindest, most compassionate, wise therapists I've met. She has a way of being that's inherently healing, and I always feel uplifted and grounded after being with her." - A.W.

"Natalie has a knack for helping people re-imagine and deepen the relationships that are important to them. Whether that's healing childhood wounds, practicing your assertiveness, or learning to set healthy boundaries, Natalie's presence, care, and compassion are unwavering. She helps you go inside to find your truth and works with you to create lasting change. It is very empowering to have Natalie by your side helping you trust your own wisdom." - J.W.

"I found her to be an incredibly generous and attentive listener, always seeking to help others uncover the most salient heart of their matter. To top it off, she is also exceedingly warm and light of spirit, which lends her insights a gentleness that can be very reassuring when practicing with the ups and downs of each new day." - J.M.

"After we found our daughter self-harming, we didn't know what to do. Natalie was able to help us as parents address the issue, but also our daughter to process her feelings. Not only did the self-harm stop but our daughter became more engaged within the family, and more like her old self. I am so glad in a scary time in our parenting journey we reached out to Natalie." - N.K.

"The best part is her humor - it makes even the hard times seem safe and okay." - C.B.

"Natalie is a fantastic couple's counselor. She is warm, authentic and present. She helps couples work out their problems effectively in the room and see their core wounds to understand how they play into our romantic relationship. This is so helpful in moving into a positive cycle together." B.H.

"Natalie is an extremely skilled psychotherapist with a warm, insightful presence you can feel the second you meet her. She's also an outstanding couple's therapist, using a gentle approach to helping couples heal old arguments and move towards better communication and improved friendship." A.N

"Our son was struggling with behavioral issues at home and school. After a few play therapy sessions there was a major shift in our son. He is now able to self-regulate and communicate about his feelings. He loved playing with Natalie and looked forward to every week. I highly recommend play therapy with Natalie." - W.R.

"After we adopted our daughter there were attachment & trauma struggles that Natalie was able to guide us through. Not only did she help our daughter, but us as a family to support the growth and change that our daughter was making. Natalie cares about the whole family, not just the child" - R.F.

Office Tour

Welcome to my office! Can you imagine coming in for your first session? Not pictured is the sound of rain, the ambiance of the rock lamp + lava lamp, and the room lit with a warm glow as we sit next to small fireplace and chat or play. A cozy + tranquil office is so important to me!

Money a barrier to therapy?

I offer a sliding scale- As a therapist, I want to help those who cannot afford traditional therapy fees, and so I enrolled with Open Path. I am thrilled to help people in this manner. One of the biggest barriers to mental health treatment is affordability for those who don't have insurance. My standard rate is $125 per hour (which is on the low end for Colorado).  How does the sliding scale work? With Open Path, clients receive a 30% to 60% discount, depending on the fee they choose that works within their budget. I let clients pick their fee in the $40 to $70 range. I don't get involved in making them prove their income or anything like that. Most people are at $45 or $50, though people have picked $70 or $40.  How and when do you direct clients to Open Path? When I get a prospective client who is asking about my sliding scale, I send them to Open Path. I explain how Open Path works, that they will have to pay the initial $65 fee to keep the website going, but that they will...
