A client joins a telehealth session and has the link to my playroom. They screenshare during the session and get to choose which room and activity to do. We spend the session playing in the virtual playroom! Clients are also allowed to use the room after sessions as a way to cope & process emotions. 

 If you have an Ipad, virtual sandtray therapy could be an option for you! Sandtray therapy is an experiential modality is effective for children 6+. The sandtray becomes the playroom in which we can explore our thoughts, feelings and behaviors.  What does a session look like? Either in-person or virtually you will be able to create your own sandtray during a 50min session while we chat and explore it together. The amazing thing about the virtual sandtray is the ability to add elements that aren't available to a regular sandtray such as snow.  How does Sandtray help? The experience of creating and playing within the world is the therapeutic change unfolding. This play aids in addressing the underlying issues that a child may be facing. Children often don't have the language to verbalize what is happening, but they can show me through Sandtray.
